Nestled among hectares of prestigious vineyards, Gran Hotel Mas d’en Bruno is a luxury boutique hotel on a historic estate in the heart of the Priorat – Catalonia’s yet-to-be-discovered wine gem. All 24 elegant suites combine intimacy, privacy, and refined design. My collaboration with the Stein Group, developers and owners of the hotel, goes back to 2004, when I began working with them as a freelance designer in Barcelona. Over the years, we have realized many projects together – Mas d’en Bruno being a highlight. The logo draws from the architectural heritage of the estate: the rhombus shape is inspired by the ceramic tiles on the ceiling and the farmhouse entrance. The letters “M” and “B” embrace the “D” at the center, symbolizing the two main buildings. The chosen primary font, “Span”, bridges tradition and modernity – reflecting both the historical character and the contemporary spirit of the hotel.

In 2024, Gran Hotel Mas d’en Bruno was awarded #6 Best Resort in the World and #1 Resort in Europe by Travel + Leisure, only one year after opening. https://www.masdenbruno.com
